The story of how two young children with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) struggled when playing with their friends. With their parents by their side, they learn about a great operation to make them better and stronger. After surgery they find stitches on their chest to become Stitchboy and Stitchgirl. These stitches made them feel special and are symbols of bravery and strength to become Heart Warriors. Forming the “Zipper Club” they would talk about their stitches with the other children. Tammy and Tommy could now run and play with the other children. But most of all, they knew they could grow up and do wonderful things because of their mended hearts.
